Broken Element Core that seems unstable. Don't throw it around.

When thrown, it will spawn a Sand Spirit Gaurd wherever it lands. The Sand Spirit Gaurd will not be friendly and can even attack the person who threw the Broken Element Core, so be careful! This item can only be found in the underground desert ruins, where it serves as a trap projectile thrown by launchers in the deeper layers of the ruins. This item serves basically no purpose than to be used as a trap for the temple, or map creators who wish to use it for traps inside of their maps, though some could argue it has pvp potential too.
