**Characters** are the representations of players in Mini World that can be unlocked with character shards or {{:items:others:dressup_card.png?nolink&32}} **Dress-up Cards**. Each character has a skill that can be activated and leveled up with a certain amount of their respective character shards, and gives the player benefits associated with the character they use. To use or change a character, the player needs to access the **Shard** > **Character** section of the [[features:mall|Mall]].
