==== Overview ====
The **Wooden Shield** is a low-tier [[survival_mode:tool:shield|shield]] in //Mini World: CREATA//. It's made of four pieces of [[survival_mode:sundry:timber|{{items:timber.png?24}}]] [[survival_mode:sundry:timber|Timber]], and offers basic protection against enemies. By holding the Use button or the right mouse button, the shield will be raised, and attacks dealt directly to the player's field of view will be blocked. For comparison, it can withstand three hits by [[survival_mode:creatures:boarman|{{items:boarman_spawn_egg.png?24}}]] [[survival_mode:creatures:boarman|Boarmen]] before temporarily shattering.

Wooden Shields have 100 durability, which is consumed for each hit blocked by the shield and each hit //dealt// with the shield. The player can either use a piece of {{items:timber.png?nolink&24}} Timber on a crafting table to restore 25 of its durability, or use [[gameplay:star_exp|{{survival_mode:gameplay:star_item.png?24}}]] 1 [[gameplay:star_exp|Star]] to repair it to its full durability.
