Holding it in your hand can attract the attention of Wowomon or Antlered Deer. Feeding it to them can make them breed. When holding it in your hand, you can tap a [[survival_mode:block:soil|{{items:soil.png?24|}}]] [[survival_mode:block:soil]] to turn it into a [[survival_mode:block:grass_block|{{items:grass_block.png?24|}}]] [[survival_mode:block:grass_block]].

It is used as an ingredient to make various items, i.e. [[survival_mode:sundry:rope|{{items:rope.png?24|}}]] [[survival_mode:sundry:rope|Ropes]] or [[survival_mode:tool:burning_torch|{{items:burning_torch.png?24|}}]] [[survival_mode:tool:burning_torch|Burning Torches]]. Tapping on a [[survival_mode:block:soil|{{items:soil.png?24|}}]] [[survival_mode:block:soil]] block will consume the item and turn the soil into a [[survival_mode:block:grass_block|{{items:grass_block.png?24|}}]] [[survival_mode:block:grass_block]].
